I believe we are witnessing a convergence of game and film that will lead to a more participatory, personalized entertainment experience. What shape this experience will take is unclear, but I’m excited to track its evolution.

The purpose of this site:

  • document developments in interactive video
  • identifying new technologies
  • interview influential figures in the industry
  • discussion on emerging trends
  • interactive video define
  • 2nd screen/games

A bit about me:

I am an Australian producer currently undertaking a dual degree program in producing (Masters in Business Administration/Masters in Fine Arts) at New York University with a scholarship in Media, Entertainment and Technology.

After completing my undergraduate studies in philosophy, psychology and film theory I spent four years working for Iris Pictures, one of Australia’s leading independent production companies. Starting out as an intern, I went on to produce, direct and shoot a diverse range of projects including documentaries, commercials and new media.

In 2012, I produced three films that were selected for the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner and other festivals in the United States. I am currently producing five short films that are in post-production.

By no means do I think I’m an expert (far from it). In fact, I’m a big believer in William Goldman’s words about the film industry ‘Nobody knows anything’. I think this applies equally, if not more so to interactive video. If you see anything on this blog that you believe is incorrect just call me out on it.
